HR Advisor
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced HR Consultant to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation delivering essential services to the community. This role offers the opportunity to work within a large, complex business environment, providing high-quality HR advisory support to managers and employees.
You’ll partner closely with line managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and agreements, while supporting case management, employee relations, and performance management processes. This position is ideal for a confident HR professional who thrives in a busy operational setting and is comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate HR advice across the full employee lifecycle.
 - Coach and support managers in the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and enterprise agreements.
 - Manage low-level casework such as grievances, performance, and fitness-for-duty matters.
 - Contribute to change management initiatives and HR project work.
 - Support HR reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement activities.
 - Build positive working relationships across teams to ensure consistent and effective HR service delivery.
 
About You
You are a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional who can balance multiple priorities and build credibility quickly with stakeholders. You enjoy partnering with leaders to deliver practical HR solutions and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
To be successful, you will have:
- 2+ years’ experience as a HR Officer or Consultant within a large, complex organisation.
 - Demonstrated experience in coaching managers and providing HR policy interpretation.
 - Case management experience (low-level grievances and fitness-for-duty enquiries).
 - Strong HR administration and systems capability.
 - Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
 - Minimum 1 year of HR experience in Western Australia.
 - Ability to manage ambiguity and maintain professionalism under pressure.
