Help Desk Support Officers – L1 / L2 / L3

Location: Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane
Clearance: Baseline required (NV1 highly desirable)
Contract: Long-term Federal Government project
Multiple positions available
We are seeking multiple Help Desk Support Officers (L1, L2 and L3) to join a long-term Federal Government program in Canberra. These roles sit within a high-performing ICT support team delivering critical services in a secure environment.

About the Role

You will provide end-user support across a range of technologies, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone, email and desk-side technical support
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues
  • Manage incidents and service requests via ITSM tools
  • Escalate complex issues where required (L2/L3)
  • Support SOE environments and user onboarding/offboarding
  • Contribute to knowledge base documentation

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an ICT service desk or desktop support environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting Microsoft environments (Windows 10/11, M365)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and ITSM tools
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Clearance

  • Baseline clearance is essential
  • NV1 preferred
