Head of Technology

What you’ll be doing
- Leading and delivering the organisation’s technology strategy
- Driving practical digital improvement initiatives that enhance services and operations
- Overseeing cybersecurity, risk management, and technology governance functions
- Managing infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and technology vendors
- Leading a small technology team and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Managing technology budgets and investment planning
- Supporting the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, where they can deliver meaningful value
What we’re looking for
You’ll be an experienced technology leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.
You may already be a Head of Technology, Technology Manager, IT Manager, or senior technology leader looking for a role where you can genuinely influence outcomes rather than navigate layers of corporate process.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience leading technology functions and teams
- Strong knowledge across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and service delivery
- A track record of delivering technology improvement and transformation initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience managing vendors, budgets, and technology roadmaps
- The ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions
Package and points to note
- Approximately $160,000 base salary plus superannuation
- Salary packaging benefits available through the NFP sector, bringing the total package value to approximately $200,000
It should be noted that this role will initially manage a small team of 2-3 staff, with opportunities to expand the team over time and engage vendors and contractors to support project delivery.
