Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, have been engaged by our long-standing client, a leading healthcare organisation. We are seeking a Head of IT Platform Engineering.
Role Title: Head of IT Platform Engineering
Opportunity: Permanent Career Opportunity
Location + WFH Flexibility: Sydney CBD – Hybrid Working
Salary: $250,000 + super + 20% performance bonus
Client Industry: Healthcare / Medical Imaging
Role Details:
- Lead the strategy, design, and operations of core infrastructure services, spanning cloud, on-prem, network, and end-user technologies
- Drive transformation, resilience, automation, and innovation across a complex, purpose-driven environment
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, reporting directly to the CIO
- Oversee platform operations across data centres, cloud, and clinic environments
Required Skills and Experiences:
- 10+ years’ experience in enterprise infrastructure leadership roles
- Proven success in hybrid cloud, network, and platform transformation programs
- Strong knowledge of VMWare, AWS, and modern enterprise platforms
- Experience in highly available or regulated environments (healthcare experience advantageous)
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills
- Financial acumen to manage large budgets and vendor contracts
