Guardianship Administration and Support Officer
Talent International is currently recruiting Guardianship Administration and Support Officer to work for the NSW Government, based in Sydney. This is a contract till Feb 2026, with the possibility of extension, paying $45.01 per hour + Super.
7 hours per day/ 35 hours per week

About the role
This role provides administrative, coordination and customer support to Guardians, helping them manage guardianship matters efficiently and deliver positive outcomes for people with reduced decision-making capacity.
You will assist with records, documents, enquiries, stakeholder follow-up and day-to-day coordination to ensure guardianship matters progress in a timely, organised and accountable way.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate customer records, update information systems and manage documents and files.
- Assist with gathering information, requesting documents and following up with service providers and stakeholders.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide day-to-day administrative support to Guardians.
- Prepare, collate and distribute correspondence, reports and other documents.
- Liaise with service providers, NSW Health, aged care providers, NDIS providers, family members and other relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with diary coordination, meeting arrangements, follow-up tasks and competing team priorities.
- Work closely with Guardians, administration staff and managers to support effective team operations.
- Identify practical workflow improvements and participate in team meetings and training.
About you
To be successful, you will have experience in administration, community services, disability, health, aged care, social services, legal administration or a similar area. You will be organised, customer-focused and comfortable working in a complex service environment.
You will also have:
- Strong administration and coordination skills.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and using information systems.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with a range of stakeholders.
- A current driver’s licence, if required for operational needs.
