
Governance Lead
The Governance Lead plays a pivotal role in sustaining a strong governance framework that ensures compliance, ethical practice, and alignment with the client’s strategic direction. This position promotes accountability, transparency, and proactive risk management while supporting continuous improvement across all governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the maintenance and enhancement of the client’s governance framework
- Provide expert governance and legal advice across departments
- Drive a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical behaviour
- Promote proactive risk management and compliance with statutory obligations
- Build capability by equipping teams with governance tools and training
- Support informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in governance, compliance, or legal advisory roles
- Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, public sector legislation, and risk management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
