The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Front-End Developer / AI-ML Software Engineer to join a high-performing Innovation and Digital Services team, supporting the delivery of modern digital solutions using emerging technologies. In this role, you will contribute to Proofs of Concept and production-grade systems that leverage AI/ML capabilities, working closely with developers and machine learning engineers in an Agile environment.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing front-end software solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript within the Vue.js framework
  • Building Proofs of Concept in a fast-paced Agile delivery environment
  • Delivering production-ready software capabilities within a multidisciplinary team
  • Supporting and maintaining existing systems while contributing to continuous improvement
  • Contributing to innovative technology solutions leveraging AI and machine learning
  • Delivering solutions using AWS cloud services with an emphasis on serverless applications and CI/CD pipelines

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Extensive experience developing solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript within the Vue.js framework
  • Strong ability to work in Agile multidisciplinary teams delivering PoCs and production applications
  • Proven experience building applications that leverage AI/ML technologies
  • Experience delivering cloud-based solutions using AWS (serverless highly regarded)
  • CI/CD experience (ideally Jenkins) and exposure to DevOps practices
  • Relevant ICT qualifications and/or industry certifications
