About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ForgeRock IAM Developer to join our Sydney-based team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise-grade Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, delivering secure and scalable solutions for critical business systems.

You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to drive IAM compliance, automation, and continuous improvement across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Identity and Access Management solutions using leading IAM platforms
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Identity Customer Platforms, including ForgeRock and HashiCorp Vault
• Utilise DevOps and CI/CD deployment approaches for IAM solutions
• Drive IAM compliance, governance, and security requirements
• Contribute to solution design and technical architecture for IAM projects
• Implement role-based access models to improve security and efficiency
• Develop and maintain code for access management, authentication, and account provisioning
• Support onboarding of external and internal users to enterprise systems
• Analyse and implement segregation of duties controls
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory requirements
• Maintain IAM policies, procedures, and documentation
• Identify, assess, and document IAM risks and controls
• Continuously improve operational processes and security controls
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and service requests

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in Identity and Access Management development and support
• Strong hands-on experience with: ForgeRock AM, IDM, DS, and IG
• HashiCorp Vault / Secrets Management
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end IAM projects from design to production
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience implementing SSO and authentication standards: SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect
• Hands-on experience performing ForgeRock upgrades
• Ability to build and maintain custom authentication trees, nodes, and scripts (Java/Groovy)
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
