Melbourne | Short-Term Contract | Immediate Start

We’re looking for a hands-on Field Support Technician to join a short-term deployment project with one of our clients.

This is a great opportunity for someone with Level 1 IT support or desktop support experience who enjoys being out on-site and working with hardware. You’ll play a key role in a mobile device rollout, helping transition iPads and iPhones to a new Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for travelling to multiple client sites across Melbourne to:

  • De-enrol iPads and iPhones from an existing MDM platform.
  • Enrol devices into Microsoft Intune.
  • Perform basic device configuration and testing.
  • Ensure devices are ready for end users.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work.

The project involves approximately 400 iPads across 76 sites, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling between locations and completing repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in a Level 1 IT Support, Desktop Support or Field Support role.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune or another Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform (desirable).
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

Requirements

  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Reliable vehicle for travel between sites (travel costs reimbursed where applicable).
  • Valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one prior to commencement.
  • Full Australian working rights.
