Job Summary
The Facilities Contract Specialist is responsible for the development, review and renewal of facilities related contracts. This role ensures high quality Scopes of Work, strong supplier governance and proactive contract lifecycle management to support operational continuity across facilities and maintenance services. The position provides expert contract guidance and strengthens commercial oversight across the organisation.

Location: Leederville (with hybrid environment of up to 2 days WFH available )
Working Hours: 38 hours per week
Contract: 23 February 2026 to 24 July 2026, short notice availability essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare clear and detailed Scopes of Work for facilities services, maintenance programs and project works
  • Lead the review, renewal and negotiation of facilities contracts
  • Develop and maintain a forward looking contract renewal schedule
  • Implement proactive contract lifecycle processes to prevent service disruption
  • Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements
  • Support sourcing and onboarding of suppliers in line with procurement standards
  • Provide subject matter advice on contract terms, service levels and commercial risks
  • Prepare documentation including business cases and risk assessments for procurement approvals
  • Maintain accurate contract records including renewals and variations
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, legislative requirements and WHS standards

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in contract management, facilities management, procurement or a related field
  • Demonstrated capability in preparing detailed Scopes of Work for facilities or maintenance services
  • Experience in supplier governance and contract lifecycle management
