Location: Canberra (National Role) | Full-time
We are partnering with a leading national telecommunications and ICT provider to recruit an accomplished Executive Deal Lead, Strategic Pursuits. This high-impact role will be instrumental in driving multi-million-dollar government and enterprise pursuits across Australia.
About the Role
As an Executive Deal Lead, you will:
- Lead high-value pursuits ($100m+ AOV / $300m+ TCV) across major government and enterprise accounts.
- Build and execute overarching deal strategies that drive market share in networks, mobility, cloud, ICT, and security.
- Form and lead virtual cross-company teams, including partners, to deliver winning solutions.
- Engage at C-level (CEO, CIO, CFO, COO, CDO) to foster trusted relationships and influence decision-making.
- Oversee the full pursuit lifecycle: qualification, opportunity planning, WinLabs, RFQ response, negotiation, and closure.
- Drive strategic growth initiatives that shape ICT offerings over the next 5 years.
About You
You are a proven deal leader with a track record of closing complex ICT and telecommunications contracts in highly competitive markets. You bring:
- 10+ years’ experience in strategic/relationship selling, ideally in telecommunications, ICT, or Defence sectors.
- Expertise in leading large-scale RFQ/RFP responses and navigating complex procurement processes.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust at CXO level.
- Demonstrated ability to manage virtual teams and collaborate across multiple business units and partners.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in business or a related field.
