The Role

Our client is seeking an Enterprise Service Management DevOps and Integration Engineer to design, implement and maintain ESM solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments and business units to ensure that the ESM platform meets the organization’s needs and enhances overall service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement ESM solutions, including integrating various enterprise systems and tools.
  • Design, develop and support backend integrations with AWS and Azure utilising components such as Power Apps, SQS, Lambda and SNS.
  • Provide technical support and training to users, addressing any issues or concerns related to the ESM platform and facilitating user adoption through effective change management strategies.
  • Develop automation scripts and plugins using such languages as Python, Java and Groovy.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in ESM or IT service management platforms.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud services.
  • Proficiency in ESM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Jira Cloud, Cherwell, and other relevant products.
  • ITIL Foundation or higher ITIL level qualifications (e.g., ITIL Managing Professional, ITIL Strategic Leader).
  • Advanced certifications in ESM tools, such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, BMC Helix Administrator, or Jira Administrator.
