About the Role:
The Engagement Projects Officer will contribute to the development and delivery of strategic engagement and education projects and initiatives. This role will suit someone with experience in project coordination and stakeholder engagement who enjoys managing project activities, developing written materials, and supporting events. You will manage your own workload with guidance from senior team members and work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the planning and delivery of strategic engagement and education projects and initiatives
* Apply appropriate project management methodologies to ensure project activities are delivered on time and within budget
* Plan and undertake assigned project activities including independent completion of tasks and coordination of related work
* Develop clear, engaging written materials for diverse audiences and communication channels in line with corporate standards
* Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support engagement strategies and successful events
* Support the planning, promotion, and delivery of engagement activities and events aligned with project and business priorities
* Maintain awareness of stakeholder interests and community responses relevant to projects and initiatives
* Use engagement techniques, audience analytics, and stakeholder mapping to support effective communication outcomes

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
* Previous experience in project coordination, engagement, communications, or a related role
* Practical experience applying project management principles
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor content for different audiences
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
* A relevant degree or diploma qualification would be well regarded
