
Engagement Manager
The Role
A State Government department is seeking an Engagement Manager (VPS6) to develop and implement best-practice community engagement and support for customers impacted by the closure of networks in regional Victoria. This is a VPS6 contract runs from October 2025 to January 2026, with hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of community engagement and customer support initiatives.
- Partner with government agencies and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and targeted engagement.
- Develop and implement communication materials, events and information sessions.
- Monitor engagement outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Identify local needs and ensure engagement activities reflect community expectations.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, community engagement, media, public policy or related discipline (desirable).
- Proven experience in community engagement and stakeholder management for complex projects.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Background in energy, infrastructure or change management projects highly regarded.
