Electrical Engineers - Design
My client, a leading company in the engineering and automation sector, is seeking Electrical Engineers at Mid and Senior levels to join their expanding team. Specializing in automation, defence, energy, utilities, and manufacturing sectors, this is a fantastic opportunity for engineers at various experience levels to contribute to complex, high-impact projects.
The Senior position will report to the Principal Engineer and be accountable for delivering advanced engineering solutions across multiple concurrent projects. You’ll have the chance to mentor junior engineers, lead technical teams, and engage directly with clients to develop and refine project scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across multiple projects.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Engage with clients to refine and develop project scopes.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.
- Manage design processes, documentation, and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals, including non-technical outcomes.
- Ensure projects meet schedule, quality, and budget targets.
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering degree qualification with at least 5 years’ experience (for Senior roles) or 2-5 years’ experience (for Mid-level roles) in automation, defence, energy, utilities, or manufacturing sectors.
- Eligible for state-based engineering registration in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
- Proven experience in design management or technical leadership.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
