
EL2 Program Manager
Our client is a federal government organisation with offices throughout Australia. Due to growth, they are seeking several EL2 Program Managerto join their team either Richmond or Geelong.
- 12-month initial contract plus 12-month extension, excellent rates negotiable
- Hybrid with 3 days per week onsite
- Federal government role – Australian citizenship required
Key duties and responsibilities
- Communicate the program vision, goals, roadmap, and ensure alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Work with the program manager & delivery stakeholders to manage the schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, and issues, and ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Establish and maintain several project backlogs, prioritise and plan the program increments and iterations with project stakeholders.
- Facilitate reporting and proactively monitor health metrics and identify & take corrective action to keep committed government milestones on track.
- Apply agile principles and practices to the assigned projects, such as iterative and incremental delivery, feedback loops, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
- Lead various agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews & retrospectives ensuring alignment to best practises.
- Monitor and report on the assigned projects progress, performance, and outcomes, and ensure transparency and visibility to all stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in a variety of forums and serve as the primary point of contact for the day to day the assigned projects delivery.
To apply for this opportunity, you will need the Selection Criteria below:
- Demonstrated minimum 5 years’ experience managing cross functional projects with a focus on utilising agile methodologies.
- Extensive experience in delivering and applying agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the integrity challenges and opportunities and the
- ability to translate them into actionable and measurable program goals and outcomes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, and the ability to work effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and teams across the organisation
- Experience delivering with cross functional teams across business areas, enabling services, external stakeholders and technology.
Desirable criteria
- Qualifications related to Program / Project / Agile methodologies
- Strong working knowledge in one or more of the following areas, Identity, Payment/Claim, Processing or Integrity
