EL2 ERP Project Manager
Talent International is currently recruiting for an EL2 ERP Project Manager to work for one of our Federal Government clients based in NSW (Multiple Office Locations). The position is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The role pays $900 to $1100 per day + Super.
8 hours per day and 40 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of a contemporary Financial Management Information System (FMIS) and drive the replacement of the agency’s existing ERP platform. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering a significant capability uplift through the standardisation and integration of key business functions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, assessment and analysis of ERP replacement options.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of a new ERP solution across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and support business areas in adopting contemporary business processes aligned with ERP best practices.
- Analyse complex business and technical challenges, identify risks and opportunities, and develop practical solutions.
- Prepare executive briefings, strategic advice and recommendations for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support ERP design, development and implementation activities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Change Management Plan, including stakeholder engagement, communications and training strategies.
- Ensure successful integration of the ERP platform across business functions and supporting systems.
Essential Experience
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Strong ERP systems and operational transformation experience within a complex Commonwealth Government environment.
- Proven FMIS implementation and integration experience, including deep knowledge of integration methodologies and best practices.
- Significant experience delivering complex projects and programs within the Australian Public Service (APS).
- Detailed understanding of ERP architecture, workflows and data management principles.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems from a business user and operational perspective.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Formal qualifications in Project Management and/or Change Management.
- Experience with recognised project delivery methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR) will be highly regarded.
