EL1 Senior Business Analyst - Salesforce

Due to growth our client, a federal government agency, is seeking an EL1 level Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join their team. Your role will be to provide business analysis, design, and agile collaboration skills to configure Salesforce solutions which improve the client through a better Participant experience and a more effective Scheme.   • Richmond or Geelong location plus hybrid work-from-home
  • 12 month initial contract + 12 month extension, rates fully negotiable
  • Role only open to Australian Citizens – Federal government client

As a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, your role will be as follows:

  • Liaise with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide technology consultancy.
  • Map end-to-end processes whilst consulting with the Business and Tech side to support the program of work inc. gathering business requirements, assessment and options analysis
  • Model the current and future state whilst engaging with business area to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Think, visualise and demonstrate systems approach, dependencies and processes that is platform agnostic.
  • Represent Salesforce Business architecture in Quarterly business planning sessions.
  • Liaise with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure expected business outcomes are achieved.
  • Enhance the business architecture based on the Agency goals and objectives.
  • Apply architectural principles to business solutions.
  • Work with Solution Designers and Functional Consultants to develop End to End solution designs in line with business requirements.
  • Define the data and process requirements to meet the business requirements.
  • Work with wider enterprise architecture teams to agree on recommended solution for business problem statements with particular focus on Salesforce CRM.
  • Represent Salesforce Business Architecture in organisation wide strategic programs.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • At least 7 to 8 years of experience working in similar role in large scale Salesforce CRM implementations as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or Senior Business Analyst with experience working in the digital portal or app channel
  • Experience in large scale tech transformation projects, preferably with ERP implementations.
  • Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques. o working on cloud-based projects, including working with digital transformation teams, UX/CX designers, and assistant technology enabled (Accessibility Compliant) applications
  • Familiar with deployment in public and private government approved cloud and associated security considerations.
  • Experience working in both Agile and Structured delivery environments and exposure to Salesforce Service Cloud and Insurance Industries.
  • Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
  • Business Process mapping background for B2C & B2B Service processes ideally in disability and health care sector.
  • Demonstrated systems delivery experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in Agile and similar methods to co-ordinate and assure systems delivery outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops with senior and multidisciplinary stakeholders
  • Great facilitation and communication skills, excellent listening, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud & Communities is desirable
  • Bachelor of Science/Business in Information Technology or equivalent tertiary qualification is mandatory, and TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification
  • Be an Australian Citizen
