EL1 Senior Business Analyst (Identity, Authentication, Authorisation)

Talent International is currently recruiting for an EL1 Senior Business Analyst (Identity, Authentication, Authorisation) to work for one of our Federal Government clients one of its multiple office locations across NSW. The position is a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension. The role pays $900 to $1000 per day + Super.

7.5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week

Must have a Baseline Security Clearance / Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis activities within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Analyse, map and redesign complex business processes.
  • Elicit, document and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business problems and capability needs into practical technology solutions.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with relevant legislation, regulations and government policies.
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, demonstrations and showcases for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with service designers, architects, developers, engineers, testers, policy teams and change practitioners.
  • Develop clear visual communication products, including process maps, diagrams, personas and customer journey maps.
  • Build and actively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage competing and urgent priorities while maintaining high-quality work.
  • Contribute to modern delivery practices, including environments where development teams use AI-enabled productivity tools.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of four years’ experience as an ICT Business Analyst.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience producing process diagrams, process maps, personas, journey maps or similar visual artefacts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple projects and business areas.
  • Experience working in government or delivering services to a government agency.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple business stakeholders.
  • Current Baseline Security Clearance and the ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1).
