Early Resolution Officer
We are seeking an experienced Early Resolution Officer to join a collaborative and purpose-driven team responsible for assessing concerns relating to professional services and facilitating fair, timely and effective resolution outcomes.
It is a 3 months contract offering $51.50 + super per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and clarify concerns relating to professional service delivery and conduct.
- Maintain accurate and detailed case records.
- Provide information and guidance on relevant legislation, consumer rights and professional responsibilities.
- Facilitate early resolution of service-related complaints through negotiation and effective communication.
- Identify matters requiring formal assessment and provide advice on appropriate next steps.
- Refer matters to appropriate internal teams or external support services where required.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience interpreting and applying legislation or regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and complex conversations.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work confidently with case management systems while maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience working within complaints handling, regulatory, government or legal environments.
- A tertiary qualification in Law or a related discipline.
