Are you an experienced strategic partner in digital transformation? Do you excel at building relationships with senior leaders and translating strategic goals into impactful digital initiatives? We are seeking a talented Digital Business Relationship Manager to act as the vital link between executive leadership and IT & Digital Services in a dynamic, large-scale organization.

About the Role:

This pivotal position involves shaping and maintaining multi-year digital investment roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with various portfolios, guide initiatives through governance processes, and foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Deans and Executive Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain digital investment strategies aligned with organizational priorities and risk appetite.
  • Partner with delivery, architecture, and operations teams to ensure smooth transition from planning to execution.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders to influence digital priorities and investments.
  • Lead engagement forums, working groups, and strategic discussions to promote visibility and shared accountability.
  • Support the creation of business cases, strategic briefs, and governance documentation.
  • Track benefits realization, manage risks, and recommend adjustments to maximize value.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation by monitoring market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance are integrated into all initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-portfolio collaboration to manage dependencies and accelerate outcomes.
  • Provide insights for strategic planning based on business engagement and technology market trends.
  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Post-graduate qualifications in IT, Business, Strategy, or equivalent senior-level experience.
  • Proven success in developing multi-year digital road-maps within complex organizations.
  • Strong background in benefits realization, portfolio governance, and strategic prioritization.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of digital transformation principles and emerging technology trends.
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable digital initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise governance frameworks and business-IT value streams.
  • Experience with portfolio management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Align.

Desirable Extras:

  • Certifications in frameworks like SFIA, ITIL, Agile Portfolio Management, or TOGAF.
  • Experience working in federated or matrixed governance environments.
  • Formal training in stakeholder engagement or enterprise change leadership.
