About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing Continuous Delivery Pipelines and non-production environments. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and automation of deployment processes across containerised and cloud platforms. You will collaborate with agile, multi-disciplinary teams to support IT systems that drive essential business outcomes.
Your duties will include:
- Automating and orchestrating deployment and provisioning tasks in cloud and containerised environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Kubernetes/EKS).
- Providing configuration support and resolving software environment issues for development and testing teams.
- Building and managing release kits and overseeing distribution to pre-production and production environments.
- Maintaining and upgrading DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Digital.ai, SonarQube, and GitHub.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the automation and efficiency of the delivery pipeline.
- Collaborating with technical and delivery staff to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Proven experience implementing solutions on major Cloud Service Providers, including AWS or Azure.
- Strong expertise in DevOps/DevSecOps/IaC tools, techniques, and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker, Kaniko, and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Development experience with programming languages like Java, Groovy, and Python.
- Proficiency with CI tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and build tools like Maven, Gradle, and npm.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical staff and manage time effectively to deliver projects.
