Developer (Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure /AWS) // Government // NSW + Hybrid WFH

  • Day Rate Contract – with likely extensions (approvals underway)
  • Sydney – NSW / Hybrid & Flexi working

The Role:

Senior Cloud engineer will work on multiple projects to maintain Cloud workload that includes creation of infrastructure workload using automation scripts, working on maintaining the infrastructure that includes operational activities, security remediation, and cost optimisation. Tools in addition to Cloud native tools that are used are: Terraforms, Ansible Automation, Packer, Azure DevOps, Splunk, Dynatrace etc.

Key Criteria

  • Infrastructure as Code scripting using Terraform, Ansible, Packer and Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Azure Compute, Storage, Networking services
  • Azure Integration – APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid
  • Monitoring – Azure Monitor, Defender, Splunk, Dynatrace
  • Remediating security alerts
  • Tagging, Patching through SSM
