Delivery Manager | Regulatory Business Systems Uplift
- Location: Canberra, ACT (Hybrid)
- Security Clearance: Baseline Cleared (Preferred)
- Contract Length: 9 months + 2 x 6 months extensions (Based on the discretion of the Department)
Our client is on the lookout for a seasoned ‘Delivery Manager’ responsible to play a key role in driving uplift activities across multiple platforms, working within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
A newly established program of work has commenced to enhance critical regulatory business systems, including case and investigations management.
Key responsibilities of the position:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, product owners, and vendor partners.
- Manage day-to-day delivery operations, including facilitation of scrum activities, planning, and tracking.
- Deliver solutions using agile and hybrid methodologies, adapting approaches to project complexity and stakeholder engagement needs.
- Develop and maintain delivery plans, schedules, and resource allocations with program management.
- Monitor delivery performance, proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and ensure blockers are removed.
- Facilitate communication across technical and non-technical teams, ensuring shared understanding of goals and alignment with program objectives.
- Manage expectations through transparent reporting, stakeholder engagement, and regular updates.
- Support release planning and ensure seamless transition into production.
- Uphold governance, risk management, and compliance with regulatory/security requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement and apply lessons learned across delivery streams.
- Support change management and user adoption activities to maximise implementation success.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Delivery Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar technology delivery role.
- Proven track record leading complex technology delivery projects, with strong understanding of technology environments and solution development.
- Strong expertise in agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
Desirable skills & experience:
- Background in a regulatory environment with exposure to case management or investigation systems.
- Previous Federal Government delivery experience in end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) platforms/ projects.
- Strong grounding in organisational change management practices.
