A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Data Platform Architect with advanced Databricks experience to join their team in a permanent capacity.

The Data Platform Architect owns the overall design, technical direction, and long-term roadmap for the Databricks environment, driving platform improvements and setting strong architectural and governance standards.

Your experience will include:

  • 8-10 years’ hands-on experience designing, deploying, and running Databricks platforms in production
  • Led large-scale enterprise Databricks implementations, particularly within financial services environments
  • Owned end-to-end platform architecture, covering security, governance, data models, and operational readiness
  • Strong expertise in Databricks on AWS, including workspace design, cluster setup, Delta Lake, governance, and cost-efficient, reliable platform architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-workspace and account-level controls, supporting secure and well-governed AWS environments

This is a Sydney-based role which will require you to be in the office at least two – three days per week.
