About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that plays a critical role in shaping economic and pricing policy and monitoring market performance. As a Data and Reporting Analyst, you will lead a small team to deliver high-quality data analysis, reporting, and insights that inform decision-making and policy development. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring sustainable provider markets and better outcomes for participants.

Your duties will include:

  • Leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable data, statistical, and mathematical models.
  • Developing and executing data collection and presentation strategies.
  • Delivering regular and ad hoc reports and insights to support policy development and decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining pricing and market performance dashboards.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery and work priorities.
  • Participating in data forums and contributing to ongoing data transformation processes.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Strong quantitative mindset with the ability to handle and analyse large datasets.
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical software packages such as R, Python, Excel, SAS/SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesise and coordinate complex information.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex data and insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics).
