Job Details

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Data and Analytics Delivery Manager to join a cross-functional team. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of strategic data assets and data products, working with a virtual cross-functional team to ensure high-quality outputs that align with validated business use cases.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead a Data and/or Analytics team to deliver project outcomes to a high standard, managing risks and issues effectively.
  • Manage a project schedule to ensure alignment between the delivery team and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage dependencies between delivery objectives and other project or business areas.
  • Ensure thorough traceability and documentation to enable efficient reviews and approvals of deliverables.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated expertise leading Data and/or Analytics teams to deliver change programs that achieve business objectives and benefits.
  • Proven ability to manage skilled data and/or analytics resources, ensuring high-quality outputs while balancing delivery timeline pressures.
  • Experience constructing detailed plans to discover, design, build, and implement data assets and products using industry best practices (e.g., Agile, Prince2, PMBOK).
  • Proficiency in working within agile and hybrid models to develop data products, utilising JIRA to plan, track, and measure progress.
  • Strong experience in managing and maintaining project schedules to identify and manage dependencies, ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Experience interpreting Data Security policy and distilling actionable requirements from the policy.
