Our client is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to make an impact by driving data-driven decision-making and supporting innovative digital initiatives. This pivotal role involves interpreting and analyzing data to enhance client-facing tools and improve the overall user experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment, helping to shape the organisation’s technology landscape through actionable insights.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Power BI for building and maintaining dashboards and reports.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation.
  • Experience with Python, particularly within Databricks, for data preparation and analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Knowledge of data quality principles, with a keen eye for identifying anomalies and trends.
  • Understanding of compliance and risk management within a financial context.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with medallion architecture and ELT concepts.
  • Previous experience in financial services or digital product analytics.
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics models and user engagement strategies.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Technology or a related field.
  • Experience in a data analysis role, particularly within the financial sector, is highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to participate in all required training and compliance initiatives.
