Data Analyst- 6 month fix-term
About the Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst / Data Business Analyst to join our client company on a fixed-term basis.
You will play a key role in improving data consistency, definitions, and usability across the organisation, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and effectively used across both internal and public-facing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret business data to identify inconsistencies and improvement opportunities
- Work closely with stakeholders to define and standardise key data concepts (e.g. event definitions and business rules)
- Clean, structure, and align data to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems
- Support data feeding into public-facing platforms and websites
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure clear requirements and delivery
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve data quality and governance
About You
You will ideally come from either:
- A Business Analyst background with strong data experience, or
- A Data Analyst background with strong stakeholder engagement skills
You will also bring:
- Experience working with stakeholders to define business rules and data standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work in complex and ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A detail-focused mindset with strong attention to data accuracy and consistency
