Duration: Initial contract through to 30 June, with strong potential for extension / long-term program engagement

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Program Manager (Operational Technology) to join a major critical infrastructure organisation delivering a high-priority enterprise cybersecurity uplift program.

This program has been established to address significant and increasing cyber risk exposure across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments, in response to the growing sophistication and frequency of cyber threats impacting essential services.

The role will be responsible for leading the final delivery phase of an existing cybersecurity uplift program, while also supporting the development of a 2-year cybersecurity roadmap and business case to guide ongoing investment and capability uplift.

This is a high-impact role within a complex, operationally critical environment where safety, resilience, and service continuity are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of remaining cybersecurity uplift initiatives across enterprise and operational environments
  • Ensure completion of current program deliverables within defined timeframes and governance frameworks
  • Develop and define a 2-year cybersecurity roadmap and supporting business case
  • Translate cyber risk exposure into clear, prioritised program initiatives aligned to business outcomes
  • Manage program governance, reporting, risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits realisation
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across technical, operational, and executive levels
  • Balance immediate delivery priorities with longer-term strategic planning and capability uplift
  • Support alignment between cybersecurity, operational resilience, and enterprise risk objectives

You are a seasoned program leader with strong cybersecurity delivery experience and the ability to operate effectively in complex, operationally intensive environments.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise cybersecurity uplift or transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk frameworks, and security architecture concepts
  • Experience working in Operational Technology (OT) environments (highly desirable)
  • Background in critical infrastructure sectors such as transport, utilities, energy, manufacturing, or other regulated industries
  • Ability to operate across both program delivery and strategic roadmap development
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience influencing senior leadership
  • Experience working in complex, matrixed or government-style environments

Highly Regarded Experience

  • Transport or large-scale public infrastructure environments (especially where OT systems are present)
  • Experience transitioning cybersecurity programs from delivery into long-term roadmap / BAU phases
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation or risk uplift programs
