The Role

Step into a pivotal cyber leadership role supporting a program that acquires and sustains information warfare systems for critical outcomes. You’ll lead a team focused on reducing cyber risk across multiple products-driving security operations, strengthening detection and response capability, and providing specialist advice that directly influences engineering delivery.

Your duties will include:

  • Lead vulnerability management activities, reporting, and stakeholder communications across multiple products
  • Maintain and execute the Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management Plan and associated assessments
  • Manage and develop SOC capability, including uplift of processes and mentoring SOC analysts
  • Lead threat hunt planning, execution, and reporting, applying threat models and adversary techniques
  • Own cyber security operations deliverables including development and maintenance of SOPs and processes
  • Drive incident response readiness by maintaining and executing the Incident Response Plan (IRP) and advising product teams through security-focused design and delivery

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Cert IV (or equivalent) in Cyber Security / Intelligence Operations / Security & Risk Management
  • Capability in ICT Security GRC (or equivalent) with strong risk assessment and technical reporting skills
  • Demonstrated SOC-based incident response experience (as both analyst and manager)
  • Proven experience in threat modelling, threat hunt planning/execution, and CTI application
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM optimisation/tuning and vulnerability tooling (e.g., Splunk, Nessus)
  • Strong stakeholder leadership and communication skills, with the ability to operate with limited supervision in complex, matrixed environments
