We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Lead to take ownership of cybersecurity operations, governance, threat detection, and incident response within a complex technology environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic security planning with operational security delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cybersecurity monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, playbooks, and security frameworks.
  • Drive security compliance initiatives aligned with recognised standards and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors to enhance security controls and reduce organisational risk.
  • Provide expert security advice across technology projects, cloud platforms, and business initiatives.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience working as a Cybersecurity Lead
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, Essential Eight, and related governance standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Purview, and cloud security controls.
  • Proven experience in threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, SIEM technologies, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and vendor management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
