
Cyber Security Enablement and Delivery Manager
Our client is a federal government organisation with offices throughout Australia. Due to growth, they are seeking Cyber Security Enablement and Delivery Manager to join their team in Richmond or Geelong.
- 18-month initial contract plus 18-month extension
- Hybrid with 3 days per week onsite
- Federal government role – Australian citizenship required
- Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
Key duties and responsibilities
- Leading and conducting highly complex projects and programs of work in a dynamic, changing environment.
- Under minimal direction, develop, implement and manage of Cyber security resilience projects and programs of work during a time of significant change.
- Completing Branch financial responsibilities such as tracking, reporting and management of the budget.
- Providing clear direction in the development of IT security standards, policy, procedures, and controls to manage risks.
- Uplift and improve the client’s security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and the continuous evolution of capabilities.
- Providing significant, high-level subject matter expert advice relating to cyber security considerations during Agency procurement activities.
- Performance of other related duties as assigned from time to time based on the business requirements.
- Scheduling and supporting external vendors with Cyber Risk Assessments.
- Regular business engagement practises.
To apply you will need the following skills and experience:
- Essential Criteria
Demonstrated experience in a similar role e.g. project management or business management roles. - Demonstrated leadership ability.
- Proven experience in dealing with technical and non-technical business teams in a Cyber GRC engagement context.
- Substantial engagement with both external and internal stakeholders is required.
- Experience with or qualifications relating to Commonwealth Procurement Rules and contract management.
Desirable criteria
- Prior experience with vendor management.
