The Role

Join a high-profile national program as an ICT Cyber Security Advisor, where you’ll guide the secure design and operation of mission-critical ICT and operational technology environments. This role plays a key part in strengthening cyber resilience across a complex System-of-Systems landscape, driving security outcomes that support a significant capability uplift.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring ICT systems are designed, operated and maintained in alignment with ISM, DSPF, ACSI and broader cyber security requirements.
  • Identifying security threats and vulnerabilities, contributing to risk assessments and Security Risk Management Plans.
  • Developing and maintaining ICT security artefacts, SOPs and documentation required for certification and accreditation.
  • Providing expert advice to engineering and program leadership on security frameworks, certification pathways and compliance.
  • Reviewing and advising on cyber security documentation for ICT and OT systems across the program.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders and industry partners to ensure consistent, compliant ICT security practices.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT with a strong focus on cyber and information security.
  • Strong understanding of government-aligned cyber security frameworks (ISM, DSPF, ACSI, NIST, ISO 27000, Common Criteria).
  • Experience within large-scale, complex capability or secure ICT environments.
  • Demonstrated experience developing ICT security documentation for certification and accreditation.
  • Background in Certification, Risk Management, Vulnerability Assessment and Management (CRVM) and Information Assurance for ICT/OT systems.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and Agile delivery methodologies; IRAP or DRAP assessor qualifications highly regarded.
