Cyber Project Manager
- Cyber project delivery, project planning, risk management
- 12-month contract – possible extension options
- $130 – $140 /hr including super
- Canberra based – hybrid working arrangement
- Must hold minimum NV1 security clearance
About the Role
This role leads the delivery of a critical cyber security project within a high-profile government program. You’ll oversee end-to-end project activity, ensuring secure, timely and high-quality outcomes that strengthen the organisation’s cyber resilience.
Your duties will include:
- Managing scope, schedule, budget and reporting across a complex cyber project
- Leading risk, issue and dependency management with a cyber-focused lens
- Developing project plans, artefacts and governance documentation
- Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Driving delivery outcomes and monitoring progress against milestones
- Providing clear, timely advice to senior leadership and contributing to strategic decision-making
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
- Proven experience delivering cyber or security-focused projects in government
- Strong understanding of cyber governance, security frameworks or ICT environments
- Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex project risks and competing priorities
- Strong documentation, reporting and project governance capability
