The role

This Government Agency is seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to be responsible for providing customer service support via phone and administrative tasks relating to resolution of credit applications.

The role is through to end of June 2024 with possible extensions. The role is based in Morwell.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, supported by monitoring of performance dashboards and workload reporting
  • Provide a high standard of customer service engagement identifying customers’ needs
  • Raise billing or collections queries
  • Undertake general administrative duties and other tasks

Required

  • Experience working in a customer service centre
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quality control
  • Highly developed verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
