Customer Service Agent
Talent International is currently recruiting Customer Service Agent to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta. This is a 4-month contract with a view to be extended. The role is paying $35.80 per day plus super.
7.5 hours a day / 37.5 hours a week

About the role
The Social Impact Programs Branch delivers crisis payments and energy rebates to eligible low-income and vulnerable households across NSW.
You will provide high-quality customer service and administrative support, assess customer eligibility against established frameworks, and liaise with energy retailers to help customers access available assistance.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with customers via phone and email.
- Assess customer eligibility for government support programs.
- Liaise with energy retailers to identify additional support options.
- Provide empathetic, respectful support to vulnerable or distressed customers.
- Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks with attention to detail.
- Deliver high-quality service while meeting team KPIs and compliance requirements.
About you
To be successful, you will have:
- Customer service experience, ideally in a high-volume and fast-paced call centre environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to communicate with empathy, professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
- A proactive, positive and can-do attitude.
- Confidence working to established processes, frameworks and performance targets.
