
Critical Network Management Lead

Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Technical Lead with a strong understanding of Systems Engineering principals to recommend software enhancements, define and implement new services with the goal of providing an end-of-the-end Service Ordering, Service Fulfillment, and Service Assurance platform for the Network Operations Centre.
The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of monitoring application performance and integrations, actively contribute to the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), backup systems and underlying database configurations and can conduct system analysis and development to keep applications current with changing protocols and technologies.
This role requires Australian Citizenship (NV1 would be ideal) and is a full time office based role. Some interstate travel to Data Centre will be required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in IT or Engineering (Mandatory)
- Experience managing Network Management Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) solutions on MS Windows and Linux virtual servers running within a virtualised environment
- Strong understanding of Red Hat Linux Administration or Engineering coupled with a strong understanding of Windows
- Experienced in deploying, configuring, and integrating COTS solutions such as ServiceNow, Splunk, Riverbed, LogicMonitor, Netbox, Infoblox, etc.
- Network monitoring protocols and capabilities such as: ICMP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, and gRPC
- Must be Australian Citizen who can travel to the office five days a weeks
