
Coordinator Rates & Accounts
An established Local Council WA’s fastest growing local governments based in North of river are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinator Rates & Accounts to lead their Rates, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within the Finance Service Unit.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Finance, you will:
- Lead and develop the Rates & Accounts Sub Unit, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
- Oversee rates, accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure compliance, efficiency and excellent service delivery.
- Drive business improvement, manage change and ensure alignment with the City’s corporate objectives.
- Engage with key stakeholders and provide expert advice to senior leaders.
- Manage budgets, governance, compliance and risk within the Sub Unit.
About You
To succeed, you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in business, commerce or related discipline.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of financial legislation, systems and risk management.
- Advanced communication, people management and problem-solving skills.
