Senior Control Systems Engineers – Multiple Clients | Perth-Based

We’re working with several clients in the mining/resources and renewable energy sectors who are looking for experienced Senior Control Systems Engineers to join their teams in Perth. These roles offer the chance to lead and deliver high-impact control and automation solutions across large-scale industrial and energy infrastructure projects nationwide.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role suited to engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, thrive in dynamic project environments, and want to work at the forefront of automation and SCADA innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and commission advanced automation and control systems
  • Deliver SCADA solutions (greenfield, upgrades, and migrations) across various platforms
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Emerson)
  • Develop automation tools using Python, C#, simulation, and virtualisation platforms
  • Lead FAT, site commissioning, and signal validation activities
  • Provide mentoring to junior engineers and contribute to project planning and delivery

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in control systems engineering (mining, energy, or renewables)
  • Solid understanding of SCADA, PLCs, industrial networking, and automation systems
  • Strong documentation, fault-finding, and commissioning skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
