Content Specialist
The main function of a content specialist is to manage workstreams to refine content experiences across our clients’ platforms and products. The typical content specialist will have excellent editorial judgment, ability to drive processes and organize execution across a variety of projects and products and have a concrete understanding of data analysis. They will also help guide the success of the team through coaching, collaboration, and building relationships.
- 5 days working week (38 hrs).
- Working hours are 10am to 6pm.
- Working days Wednesday – Sunday (Rest days are Monday and Tuesday).
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide content strategy for guidelines that help review content at scale, maintaining commitment to accuracy and consistency
- Manage day-to-day facilitation of project execution at the workstream level
- Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, workflows and content templates that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly
- Collaborate with our content and product teams to improve user experience
- Analyse complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends, and produce reports with compelling, actionable insights for our partners
- Lead the weekend curation coverage, in addition to 2-3 days during the week
- This role will involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material. i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, animal abuse, self-injury and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing
Skills:
- Critical thinker with exceptional ability to translate data findings into clear, concise, and compelling reports. Must have a strong command of grammar, style, and tone
- Experience with social media platforms, content discovery tools and content strategy
- Knowledge of project management and leading a team through the cycle of the creative process
- A proven track record of managing complex workflows w/ operational expertise
- Creative self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, MS Excel
- Experience in coding and/or prompt engineering preferred
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
