Our client is trusted Insurance Builder looking to bring on a Construction Manager within central Brisbane.

The company has a strong pipeline of work within the region and needs an experienced candidate who has industry knowledge, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and customer focused approach. Our client specialises in Commercial, Complex, Domestic, and Strata claims, delivering high-quality insurance repairs with precision and care. Previous experience working on insurance and restoration projects will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the construction process, ensuring alignment with company quality benchmarks and client expectations.
  • Foster clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams, delivering prompt and precise project updates.
  • Develop and maintain a reliable network of trades to enhance project productivity and outcomes.
  • Guarantee compliance with quality assurance protocols, building standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project schedules, budget adherence, and compliance with OH&S requirements.
  • Oversee daily on-site operations, subcontractor coordination, and associated administrative tasks.
  • Provide detailed weekly updates on site progress and overall project status.

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role within the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience and a desire to advance professionally.
  • Previous involvement in projects incorporating Commercial, Complex, Domestic, and Strata claims is advantageous.
  • Client-oriented approach with a dedication to surpassing expectations.
  • Resilient, proactive, and solution-focused with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong estimation experience and ability to develop tenders.
  • Exceptional ability to build strong working relationships with both colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Committed to quality, continuous improvement, and efficient problem resolution.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills to drive team performance.
