The Commissioning Superintendent is responsible for leading and coordinating commissioning activities across site-based infrastructure and systems. The role ensures safe energisation compliance with project requirements and a seamless transition from construction to operations. This position provides senior technical leadership across commissioning teams vendors and operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning coordination and execution of commissioning activities
  • Manage commissioning resources vendors and specialist personnel
  • Review and approve commissioning documentation ITRs and work packs
  • Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and testing
  • Approve RFC RFSU and energisation related certifications
  • Lead safe energisation and HV switching activities
  • Identify manage and mitigate commissioning risks
  • Provide technical leadership mentoring and reporting on progress

Required Qualifications

Skills & Competencies

  • Commissioning leadership and systemisation expertise
  • High voltage systems and protection knowledge
  • SCADA and control systems commissioning experience
  • Strong safety and risk management capability
  • Stakeholder coordination and technical reporting skills

Working Conditions (Optional)

  • FIFO 2:1 roster
  • Site-based role with Perth-based work during initial testing
