With multiple locations across Canberra, and nationwide, the organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for vulnerable Australians.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership for the ongoing enhancement of the core technology platforms that support the Agency systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for solution architecture across the Cloud Infrastructure domain.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high quality solution architectures that are fit for business purpose and align solutions with Agency goals and objectives.
- Architect, develop, and manage scalable and secure AWS/Azure cloud environments with a focus on automation, performance optimisation, and cost efficiency.
- Helping to develop and ensure compliance with NDIA reference models, principles, policies, standards and strategic ICT roadmap.
- Engaging with the business and project team to understand the tactical & strategic objectives and requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Architecture experience with broad technical knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement enterprise-level multi-cloud infrastructure solutions
- Evidence of applying government security frameworks, ITSM practices, and performance engineering in enterprise-level multi-cloud infrastructure
- TOGAF certified or equivalent IT architectural qualification; Azure or AWS cloud experience
- Previous experience as Solution/Domain/Technical Architect, Programme Lead Architect as well as experience working in both Agile/DevOps and Structured delivery environments.
