Cloud Network Architect
- 3-year daily rate contract – Government Department
- CBD Location – 2/3 days a week in the office

The role
The Network and Cloud Architect will provide expert advice, guidance, and oversight of the implementation and execution of strategies, architecture governance and design for the network domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud network architecture for business systems
- Participate in the relevant tender evaluation process to ensure network requirements are met
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the IT infrastructure and network landscape
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to ensure they align with the organisation’s architectural standards
- Collaborates with business stakeholders and project teams to gather and document network, cloud and technical related requirements for various programs and projects
Key Skills:
- Min 6 years of experience in Network Architecture
- Strong experience and understanding of cloud networks, particularly AWS
- Experience in large scale network architecture, design and implementation
- Strong expertise in the creation of architecture, strategy, blueprints, and roadmaps for Network Solutions
- Experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Extensive experience with design documentation
- Cloud networking experience
