This government body is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join their strategic digital delivery team. You’ll be hands-on with everything Azure from spinning up landing zones to automating deployments and ensuring airtight security.

Key activities

  • Design, deploy, and tune Azure infrastructure – networks, compute, storage, and identity.
  • Build rock-solid, repeatable environments with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Automate deployment pipelines and configurations with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and DevOps.
  • Manage and secure access with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune.
  • Monitor performance and threats using Defender, Azure Monitor, and Sentinel.
  • Partner with architects, analysts, and migration teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Proven expertise in MS Azure infrastructure delivery within complex or enterprise environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Terraform, scripting (PowerShell / Azure CLI), and Azure DevOps.
  • A knack for making the complex simple, and explaining it just as clearly.
  • Collaborative spirit and a problem-solver’s mindset.
