  • Hybrid arrangements available across ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD, and SA
  • Baseline security clearance required
  • Cloud Architecture (Microsoft Azure), cloud landing zones, SaaS lifecycle management, modern data platforms, and hands-on data engineering

We are seeking separate Senior Architects to support a major enterprise transformation program, with primary focus on Cloud Architecture and Data Architecture with strong Data Engineering capability – separate roles. These roles are critical to shaping future-state digital platforms, enabling scalable cloud services, and modernising legacy systems and data environments to support enterprise analytics and AI-driven insights.

Your duties will include:

  • Leading the design of future-state cloud architecture, including cloud operating models and landing zone frameworks
  • Developing lifecycle roadmaps for SaaS platforms to ensure architectural consistency and avoid platform sprawl
  • Providing technical leadership for migrating legacy on-premises applications to cloud-native or hybrid environments
  • Designing the strategy to consolidate legacy data stores into a unified, modern cloud data platform
  • Establishing and guiding the implementation of modern data pipelines and data engineering practices
  • Contributing to architectural governance, design reviews, and cross-team technical alignment

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect and/or Data Architect in large, complex enterprise environment
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, including secure, scalable cloud-native and hybrid solutions
  • Hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and practices (e.g. cloud data pipelines, ETL/ELT, analytics platforms)
  • Strong background applying architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, or DAMA
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable guidance for senior stakeholders
  • Experience establishing or working within architectural governance frameworks and design authorities

Desirable: Experience in Solution Architecture or Security Architecture, including secure-by-design principles and enterprise integration, will be highly regarded but is not core to this requirement.
