Talent International is currently recruiting a Client Service Officer x 3 (On-site) to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta/Wollongong/Newcastle. This is a 5-week contract with a view to be extended. The role is paying $40.80/hr + Super.

Working hours: 7hours/day, 35hours/week
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
Work location: Candidate will have an option to work in the Parramatta/Wollongong or Newcastle offices

About the Role:

In this role, you will support and provide oversight to privately appointed Financial Managers (Private Managers), ensuring they understand and meet their legal responsibilities.

You will:

  • Provide guidance and advice to Private Managers on financial decision-making, record-keeping, and reporting
  • Review proposed financial decisions to ensure they are in the best interest of the client
  • Manage your own caseload independently
  • Escalate complex matters to senior stakeholders when required
  • Contribute to supporting vulnerable individuals, including people with disabilities and older persons

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to participate in a rotating phone roster (between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
  • Comfortable with call and email monitoring for quality assurance and training purposes
  • Understanding of NSW Trustee and Guardian services or similar customer base
  • Experience working with or supporting vulnerable, elderly, or disabled individuals
  • Qualifications in finance or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
