Client Overview: A prestigious global consultancy is seeking skilled engineers to support a significant Azure migration project for a major telecommunications client. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects in a dynamic environment.

Role Details:

  • Position: Citrix and Azure Engineers
  • Duration: 6-12 months, rolling contract
  • Telco Experience: Essential

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Citrix technologies, including XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, and Citrix Cloud.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation:

  • Design, deploy, and configure Citrix infrastructure, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and related components.
  • Develop and implement Citrix policies and configurations to optimize user experience and system performance.
  • Plan and execute Citrix deployments and migrations to Azure, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Azure Cloud Migration:

  • Lead the migration of on-premises Citrix environments to Azure, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
  • Configure and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, integrating with Citrix technologies as needed.
  • Optimize Azure resources for cost-efficiency and performance, leveraging tools like Azure Monitor and Azure Cost Management.
