Our Client

Our client is a key Federal Government agency with high-level responsibility for overseeing the development and administration of policies, programs, initiatives and technology that ensure the health and welfare of the Australian population. Working closely with other agencies within their portfolio, our client is undertaking a number of significant ICT projects to enable the development and provision of a range of services for Australians.

About The Project

Our client is in the process of strategizing a business-led ‘transformation and uplift’ program from SAP ECC6 to SAP S4 HANA and supporting technologies. Current strategic planning activities will progress into ICT architectural design activities during 2024-25, followed-on by implementation activities through 2025-26.

About The Role

Our ideal candidates are highly experienced change manager/release manager who led the change management and release function in accordance with our client’s Project Management Framework, ICT releases policy/procedures, and program governance arrangements.

Key Responsibilities Of The Position:

  • Coordinating project or business changes using change control processes and training material and user guide material coordination/development
  • Establish and maintain the Release Management processes in consultation with relevant business stakeholders including third party suppliers. Releases will be for Projects and Programs.
  • Execute the Release Management processes inclusive of scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases for multiple applications across various portfolios

Other Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated ERP change management/release management on a large complex implementation and/or upgrade program.
  • Demonstrated ERP change management/release management experience using the SAP Activate Methodology.
  • Demonstrated change management/release management experience in a large complex Commonwealth Government corporate environment.
